About this release
Below you will find all the latest updates introduced on the Manifest Web Application on October 3, 2024. Version 4.0 includes the introduction of Orgs along with both feature enhancements and usability improvements in response to various user feedback and feature requests.
Support notes
Important! Clients with On-premise configurations must be running Docker version 4.0 or higher before updating their application to ensure compatibility.
Docker 4.0 will be available soon.
What’s new
Manifest 4.0 introduces Orgs, a new data paradigm for separating and controlling access to Manifest content that provides efficiency and flexibility to customers managing larger numbers of users, procedures, equipment, teams or regulations.
- Organize your content and data by function, location, teams, skill level, equipment and other organizational attributes
- Partition content for privacy and security reasons
- Control employee access to content and data
- Simplify and filter views and dashboards
- Focus your users on only what matters to them
Additional updates and enhancements:
- Redesigned UI for adding Fault and Job Evidence Notes
- Now record Audio Notes directly from a PC when authoring Templates or creating Fault or Job Evidence Notes
- Capture and create Photo Notes directly from a PC or “cut and paste” from your clipboard
- Capture and create Video Notes recorded directly from a PC using screenshare
- Flag a 3D Model setup as complete directly from the Web application (previously required a headset)
- Pre-assign Sub-Jobs to specific Assets in the Add Job window
- Ability to add ‘Work’ directly from a published Template on the Templates listing page

4.0.1
4.0.1 was published on the Client Web Application on Friday, October 18, 2024.
In this release we have made a number of fixes and corrections along with a few enhancements, including:
- Increased the character count for URL input on the Asset Class creation page
- Added faults section to tasks
- Added ability to record video as a Video Step Note when authoring a template
- Updated Admin role permissions to allow the ability to view the Users page
- Fixed issue to now allow symbols on the XLS import functionality
- Fixed issue to now allow to share templates regardless of template status (draft, submitted, approved and published)
- Fixed issue where an assigned task was opening up as a Job
- Fixed issue with the MSA showing HTML text
- Various security updates

In this release we have made a number of fixes and corrections along with a few enhancements, including:
- Added hover over tooltips when creating a new user
- Added ability to select data to download on the Meter Evidence Report
- Improved modal window when adding Work when no Asset Class or Asset exists
- Improved the Team Job Set-up flow
- Added search capabilities within the Org Detail for Orgs, Asset Class and Users
- Improved the ‘Show More’ option on the Orgs page for better visibility
