Hi Tony,

If you are referring to photos & videos from our documentation – the way we get the black background is by turning off the Photo/Video (PV) Camera so only the holograms are captured. I do this by unticking the PV checkbox in the Windows Device Portal for the HoloLens under Mixed Reality Capture. Screenshot attached.
